FROM A BOUTIQUE ATELIER IN NISANTASI
In 2019, two sisters — Seyma and Zeynep Harmonie — founded Harmonious in a boutique atelier in Istanbul's Nisantasi district. There, Turkish weavers and dye masters came together with a shared vision: to create scarves and shawls of extraordinary colour and texture using organic cotton and traditional root-dyeing techniques.
Each scarf was hand-dyed individually — no two pieces alike. Every colour a direct imprint of nature's palette. From those first hand-painted shawls, a full wardrobe emerged: shirts with elegant lines, dresses that move with the body, handcrafted denim, embroidered blouses, and jewelry inspired by mythology and the Aegean sea.
Today, Harmonious operates with a commitment to sustainability, quality craftsmanship, and a timeless design philosophy that puts women at the centre of everything we create.
CRAFTED BY HAND, WORN WITH INTENTION
At the heart of Harmonious lies a deep commitment to artisanal craftsmanship. Our hand-dyed organic cotton shawls are created using traditional root-dyeing methods — each piece individually painted by master artisans, resulting in unique colours that cannot be replicated.
Our embroidered blouses feature broderie anglaise and hand-stitched details that have become a signature of the brand. Our Avant-Garde jewelry collection is handcrafted by Turkish artisans using genuine baroque pearls, natural stones, and gold-plated details — where mythology meets modern elegance.
