Oxford Blue is inspired by the University of Oxford. The University of Oxford is a university located in Oxford, England, United Kingdom. Although its founding date is unknown, documents indicating that education was provided in the city in 1096 make the university the oldest university in the English-speaking world and the second oldest university that has continued to exist since its founding. It grew rapidly after Henry II banned English students from studying at the University of Paris in 1167. In 1209, as a result of disagreements with the people of Oxford, some academics went to the northeastern town of Cambridge and founded the University of Cambridge. Today, these two old universities are known as Oxbridge. Oxford Blue represents Harmonious' characteristic aspect of being inspired by the academy.
